Late applications will be reviewed on a space-available basis if they are received after the priority deadlines have passed. Admission will be closed after the enrollment goals for each term have been fulfilled.
What is the process for transferring my credits?
If you want to know how your credits will transfer to Ball State, there are a few options:
Option one is to submit an online application for admission. The advanced standing report will illustrate how your courses will transfer to Ball State University, if you are admitted. If you are admitted, your acceptance packet will include a copy of your advanced standing report.
Alternatively, you can sign up for one of the university Transfer Visit Day events and submit your unofficial transcript to transfer@bsu.edu at least 14 days in advance of the event. If you have fewer than 30 credit hours, they will arrange for you to meet with a freshman academic counselor to discuss your academic plans.
If you have 30 or more credit hours, we will set up a meeting with a faculty academic advisor from your department to discuss your academic progress. You will discuss the transferability of your credit throughout these meetings.

When will I be able to schedule my courses?
First and foremost, you must be accepted and get confirmation of your enrolment. After being accepted into the program, you will be invited to Orientation, where you will meet with an academic advisor to schedule your classes.
