This is to inform the general public that  Federal University of Technology Owerri has scheduled its 2023/2024 POST UTME and DIRECT ENTRY screening exercise for candidates who made the University their first choice in the 2023 University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry.

NOTE: The 2023/2024 futo post utme form is currently on sale.  Application for FUTO post UTME screening exercise commences on Tuesday, August 04, 2023 and closes on Tuesday, September 01, 2023.

FUTO POST UTME 2023/2024 ELIGIBILITY

• Candidates who made Federal University of Technology Owerri their first choice and have the required cut-off mark are eligible to apply.
• UTME candidates must have a Score of 180 and made the University your first choice Institution to be eligible for Pre-admission Screening.

FUTO POST UTME  2023/2024 REGISTRATION PROCEDURE | HOW TO APPLY

1. To apply, follow the steps outlined below:
   1. Visit the University website:futo.edu.ng.
   2. Click on Prospective students
   3. Click on the link; “2020/2021 POST-UTME Application”.
   4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number to generate Payment Invoice containing the Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
   5. Proceed to any Bank with the payment invoice OR simply pay with your ATM Card.
   6. Return to the Application page and enter your JAMB Registration number again.
   7. Proceed with the completion of the form.
   8. Correctly enter your O’Level results.
   9. Confirm your entries.
   10. Submit your application.
   11. Print out your acknowledgement slip.
   12. Await further communication from the university.
2. Eligible candidates would be required to pay a processing fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00), excluding bank charges. .
3. Duration of the Aptitude Test: The Aptitude Test will hold Soon. The specific time and date for individual candidates would be communicated in due course.

• Any candidate who fails to complete the online screening will automatically forfeit the chance of being considered for admission.
• Withholding information or provision of wrong information will lead to instant disqualification.
• Offenders shall be handed over to the law enforcement agents for prosecution in addition to being disqualified.

2023/2024 POST UTME RESTRICTIONS

• Only bona fide candidates/candidates scheduled for the day’s examination and time shall be allowed into the University / Examination Hall.
• Parents and guardians are, therefore, strongly advised against attempting to enter the University Campus as security will be tight.
• No GSM handsets, scientific calculators or any other extraneous materials shall be allowed into
  the examination hall
• Candidates who did not register online will not be allowed for the screening exercise.
• The University will not be liable for any payment made with wrong JAMB registration number at the Bank.
• The University shall also not be liable for any fraudulent payments made anywhere that is not in line with the directives of the University.
