Direct Entry Requirement for Political Science:

• Two (2) A’ level passes to include Government or History.

  SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

  1. AUE accepts ‘A’ level passes NCE pass in Economics or Business Management and one (1) other subject,ND upper credit in Business Administration plus UTME requirements.

UTME Requirement for Political Science:

• Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Government/History and any other three (3) subjects from Arts/Social Sciences with at least ‘O’ level pass in Mathematics.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

1. AUE accepts five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes obtained at not more than two (2) sittings in relevant subjects to include English Language, Government, Mathematics and any other two (2) Social Science subjects.
2. FULOKOJA requires five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language, Government or History, and any other three (3) subject from Arts or Social Sciences.
3. FUWUKARI– Same as in Economics.

UTME Subject combination for Political Science 2023/2024:

• English Language(*), Government/History and two (2) other Social Sciences or Arts subjects.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER)

1. AUE accepts Mathematics, Government and any other Social Science subject.
2. FULOKOJA accepts History/Government plus one (1)Social Science subject and any other Arts or Social Science subject.
