This is to inform the general public that Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (oau) has scheduled its 2023/2024 POST UTME and DIRECT ENTRY screening exercise for candidates who made the University their first choice in the 2023 University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

OAU Post Utme ELIGIBILITY

• Candidates who made Obafemi Awolowo University their first choice and have the required cut-off mark are eligible to apply.
• Obafemi Awolowo University requires all candidates applying for admission into any of its courses to possess five credit “O” level passes.
•  The general cut-off mark is 200.

OAU POST UTME REGISTRATION PROCEDURE | HOW TO APPLY

Eligible candidates are required to pay a processing fee of N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira only) through Remita Platform at any Commercial Bank.

The online registration will soon commence.

ONLINE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

• To commence the on-line screening, candidates are required to log on to University eportal (admissions.oauife.edu.ng) to register for the POST-UTME screening exercise effective from 19th July, 2023. The candidates are required to visit admissions.oauife.edu.ng directly and login with their JAMB Registration Number to download RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) and use it to make payment online or at any commercial bank.Applicants for the Screening Exercise will be required to do the following on the University admissions portal admissions.oauife.edu.ng1. Update JAMB data

  2. Upload Results (i.e WAEC, NECO, JUPEB, ND, NCE etc)

  3. Upload scanned copy of credentials

  4. Upload passport photograph (if not available)

  5. Print completed Admission Screening form

  Applicants that provide false information, or upload incorrect credentials will automatically be disqualified.

  Candidates will also be required to participate in the Post-UTME screening on their allotted date and time.

2023/2024 Post Utme RESTRICTIONS

• Only bona fide candidates/candidates scheduled for the day’s examination and time shall be allowed into the University / Examination Hall.
• Parents and guardians are, therefore, strongly advised against attempting to enter the University Campus as security will be tight.
• No GSM handsets, scientific calculators or any other extraneous materials shall be allowed into
  the examination hall
• Candidates who did not register online will not be allowed for the screening exercise.
• The University will not be liable for any payment made with wrong JAMB registration number at the Bank.
• The University shall also not be liable for any fraudulent payments made anywhere that is not in line with the directives of the University.
