University of Ibadan Acceptance Fee Latest News 2023/2024
This is to inform all students who have been offered admission into University of Ibadan (UI) through UTME/DE that the management of the institution has announced that payment of acceptance fee will commence on Monday, 16 December. All admitted students must have printed their JAMB Admission Letter before they can pay the UI non-refundable acceptance of Thirty-Five Thousand Naira only (N35,000).
What is Acceptance Fee

When you click on accept it means you have accepted any course you’re given, and if you reject that means you don’t want the admission. So for those that accept the admission, it doesn’t mean you have paid your acceptance fee but that you accept the course and the school your given. Now it will now register on jamb portal that this individual has been offered admission into the school of his choice.
Now, Acceptance fee is a fee you pay to secure your admission in the school you accepted on your jamb caps. If you do not pay this fee your admission will be denied by the school and your slot will be given to another candidate. So it’s very important that once you’re giving admission you should pay your acceptance fee.
UI ACCEPTANCE FEE 2023/2024 PAYMENT PROCEDURE
- Go to admissions.ui.edu.ng.
- Sign-in into the portal using your jamb registration number and password.
- Your Username is your Jamb Registration Number eg 33333333UI
- Your Password is your Surname at first login eg Ajamu. Do not use a hyphen in your compound names
- If you forgot your password, click on Can’t access your account / Forgot your Password?
They are then to proceed to upload the following documents:
- An Institution’s copy of the JAMB Admission Letter
- O/L result(s)
- PIN/SERIAL Numbers of WAEC/NECO scratch card for O’L results
The admission portal will open on Monday, 16 December to Friday, 24 January 2023. Please note that there will be no extension of the deadline.
REMINDER: Candidates whose admission has been approved, but yet to be accepted are advised to proceed to Jamb Portal to accept the offer on CAPS. They cannot pay the acceptance fee until they have accepted and printed their admission letters.
Further information on clearance will be released in due course. Candidates are therefore advised to check the portal from time to time.
